Payroll, HR & CIS

Payroll is at the heart of what we do. We run the complete process for businesses of all sizes, so your team is paid accurately and on time without you having to think about it.

Payroll

Pay runs, RTI submissions, pensions auto-enrolment, payslips and year end, for weekly, fortnightly, four-weekly and monthly payrolls. Choose the level that suits you:

• Core — payroll, RTI, pensions and payslips
• Enhanced — adds P11Ds, payrolled benefits and Class 1A National Insurance
• Ultimate — adds day-to-day HR advice, a staff mailbox and templates

We give you our new starter and payroll changes forms, and need everything for each pay run, including starters and leavers, 3 working days before pay day (5 for monthly payrolls).

CIS and HR

• Construction Industry Scheme — subcontractor verification, monthly CIS returns and statements
• HR support — practical advice on day-to-day employment matters and support with individual cases
• Contracts and policies — your staff handbook, HR policies and an employment contract for each type of role, reviewed or written from scratch
• Keeping them current — law-change updates and an annual review
• Your own HR system — leave, policies, onboarding and letters, hosted and looked after for you

Accounts & tax

A clear, accurate picture of your business so you can make confident decisions, and your filings done on time, every time.

• Bookkeeping — your books kept in Xero, at the level of service you choose
• VAT returns — Making Tax Digital VAT returns
• Management accounts — profit and loss, balance sheet and a short commentary
• Year-end accounts and Corporation Tax — statutory accounts and your CT600
• Sole trader and partnership accounts — annual accounts and the owner’s tax return
• Self assessment tax returns — for directors and other individuals
• Sales invoicing and credit control — we raise your invoices in Xero and chase the overdue ones
• Catch-up bookkeeping — bringing your records up to date
• HMRC enquiry support — dealing with HMRC on your behalf if they open an enquiry

We are not auditors. If your company needs an audit, we will tell you and introduce a registered auditor.

Xero

We can provide your Xero subscription at Xero’s published price with no mark-up, or work in the Xero you already have.

Staff outside the UK

If you employ people abroad, we can run international payroll where you have a local company, or employ your staff through our employer of record partner where you don’t. Tell us how many people and which countries, and we’ll talk it through.
